A. “Property Manager Trust Accounting and MJ”

Every Colorado licensed Property Manager must understand proper trust account procedures and how not to be snookered by tenants when it comes to Marijuana laws.  This two-hour course will cover the key issues that Brokers and Property Managers must be aware of in order to avoid offending the Colorado Real Estate Commission by improper trust accounting and how not to be taken advantage of by tenants who claim a right to use Marijuana on the rental premises.  These issues will be discussed from the perspective of a Colorado attorney and Landlord/Property Manager.

B. “A Disciplinary Primer: You May Be Paranoid, But They Still May Be Out To Get You”

This will be a review of Colorado Real Estate Commission licensure and disciplinary laws, regulations, policies, and best practices for property managers.  Also, a review of some problematic ethical dilemmas faced by property mangers.  Additionally, a discussion of methods to avoid professional discipline and owner/tenant liability caused by professional misconduct.

Event cancellations must be received in writing. If cancellation is received 30 days prior to the event, there will be a full refund less a $25 processing fee. If cancellation is received 15-29 days prior to the event, there will be a 50% refund. There is NO refund if cancellation is 1-14 days prior to the event.
